Definition

Bluetooth-like digital wireless technology that can transmit large chunks of data over short distances (currently up to 230 feet) over a wide spectrum of frequency bands through doors, walls, and other such barriers. Since it uses very low power (0.5 milliwatts), its proponents claim that it causes little or no interference. Also called digital pulse wireless.
