undifferentiated products
Definition
Intrinsically identical products (such as gasoline, milk, packaged ice) that can be easily substituted by products from other suppliers. Such products complete only on the basis of price and availability, and require highlighted perceived differences to achieve differentiation. Also called fungible products.
