Definition

Smallest number of individuals exposed to a risk where an annual fatality is expected to occur. Smaller the unicohort, the greater the risk of fatality. For example, a unicohort size of 121 indicates that one individual out of 121 is likely to be subject to a fatal accident in a 12 month period.
