Definition
Index of some 1700 stocks traded on NYSE, AMEX, and NASDAQ stock market, published by the US investment advisory service value Line investment survey. It ranks the stocks on the basis of their project price performance over a 6 to 12 month period, and identifies each individual stock's price volatility behavior in comparison with the market average.
